Orchid Phantom: Art & Sound From NYC to Belgium

Orchid Phantom: Art & Sound From NYC to Belgium

For Orchid Phantom, the Googly Eye Cru shop became a space for art, music, and a release happening on both sides of the Atlantic.

Artist @mdot_season took over our storefront windows, creating an original installation directly on the glass and bringing the artwork to life with a live painting session inside the shop.

At the same time, we had Twin Daggers @barothwell and @mdot_season providing the soundtrack while the Orchid Phantom music video was projected across the wall inside the store.

The night also went beyond NYC. While we were celebrating and projecting the video here in New York, Orchid Phantom was simultaneously being released in Belgium, connecting two cities through the same music, visuals, and creative energy.

For us, that’s what having a shop inside the NYC subway can be about. Hundreds of Thousands of people move past our windows every day, so why not turn those windows into a canvas?
